Privacy Policy

BenSited LLC ("BenSited", "we", "us") builds websites and custom business software from Raleigh, North Carolina. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit bensited.com, fill out one of our forms, or respond to one of our ads, and what we do with it.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you fill out a form on our website or an instant form in one of our Facebook or Instagram ads, we collect what you enter. That can include your name, email, phone number, business name, details about your project or business, your answers to our questions, and any photos or files you attach. If you email, call or text us, we keep that conversation.

Where you found us. When you first visit our site, your browser stores a small note (for 90 days, in your browser's local storage) of the site or ad that sent you and the first page you saw. It is only sent to us if you submit a form, so we know which of our ads and links actually work.

Basic technical data. Our host, Cloudflare, processes your IP address and browser information to deliver the site, block spam and abuse (including its Turnstile check on our form), and give us aggregate visit counts. We do not currently use advertising pixels or third-party tracking cookies on this site.

How we use it

• To reply to you, set up a demo, quote or mockup, and do the work you ask for.
• To send invoices, take payments and keep business records.
• To understand which of our ads and marketing bring in inquiries.
• To keep our site and forms secure.

If you give us your phone number, we may call or text you about your request. We won't add you to a marketing list. Tell us to stop at any time (reply STOP to a text) and we will.

Who we share it with

We never sell your information. We share it only with the services we use to run the business, and only as needed for them to do that job:

• Cloudflare: website hosting, security, and the database our customer records live in.
• Google Workspace: our email.
• Resend: delivers form submissions to our inbox.
• Pushover: sends us a phone notification when a new inquiry arrives.
• Stripe: processes payments if you become a client.
• Meta: if you contact us through a Facebook or Instagram ad form, Meta collects and passes your answers to us under Meta's own privacy policy.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry and client information for as long as we need it to work with you and to keep the business and tax records we're required to. You can ask us to delete it sooner.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we have about you by emailing contact@bensited.com. You can clear the "where you found us" note at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Children

Our services are for businesses. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update it on this page and change the date at the top.
