What does a site cost?
It depends on how many pages and how much needs building, so the price is settled on the call and fixed before any work starts. You will not get an invoice with something on it you did not agree to.
How long does it take?
A straightforward site is usually a matter of days rather than weeks — one client describes the whole thing taking a few days start to finish. Bigger builds take longer, and you will be told which yours is before you commit.
Can you build an online shop into it?
Yes — products, photos, stock, checkout and payments, built into the site rather than sending people off to a page that looks nothing like it. Some of the sites on this page already sell that way. If you already take payments through something, the shop is built onto that, so the money still arrives where it always has.
Will my site show up on Google?
Every site is built for it: proper titles and descriptions, clean page structure, a sitemap submitted to Google, and pages that load fast, which Google weighs directly. Nobody can promise you the top result for a competitive search — anyone who does is selling you something — but the site will be one Google can read and rank, and it will be there for people searching your name and your trade.
I do not have a domain yet — can you help?
Yes. We settle on the right name together, and I walk you through buying it, in an account in your name. The same goes for the hosting and the email on it, and for the security settings on all of them — that side is configured for you rather than left for you to work out.
Do I own the site?
Yes. It goes on your own domain, in an account in your name, and it is yours to keep. If you ever want to take it elsewhere, nothing is held hostage.
What happens after it goes live?
It stays hosted and maintained, and you are never left to work out the technical side alone. New prices, a new service, fresh photos — send them over and they go up, made by the same person who built the site rather than a support queue.
Do you use WordPress or a page builder?
No. Every site is coded directly, which is why they load quickly and why there is no monthly platform fee stacking up behind you.
What if I already have a site?
Redesigns are welcome and are often the easier job, because the content already exists. If your current site is doing fine, you will be told that too.
