Barber Collision

A collision repair shop in Holland, Michigan. Their logo sits centred over a looping film of a black Ford Raptor under paint-booth lights, and the first button on the page asks for photos, not a phone call: up to six pictures of the damage go straight to the office for a free estimate. Below it, the page answers what a driver asks next — how the repair goes, how long it takes, whether there is a rental, and that in Michigan the choice of shop is theirs, not the insurer’s.

The brief

What they needed

A body shop whose customers find it on a bad day. The brief was simple, straight to the point and expensive-looking, in black and the logo’s blue, and it had to grab attention on the first screen. The local competition is stock photos on templates: none of it puts a photo estimate above the fold, and none of it says how long a repair takes.

What got made

01

The logo, centred over the booth

Their mark leads the page, centred, over a seamless looping film of a black Ford Raptor under paint-booth lights. Phones get their own portrait version of the scene rather than a crop of the wide one, so the truck is still the picture.

02

An estimate from the driveway

The first button asks for photos. Customers pick up to six pictures of the damage, the form shrinks them before sending, and they land in the office inbox as attachments, so the estimate can start before the car is dropped off.

03

The questions people actually ask

A four-step walk through what happens after the estimate, and a plain FAQ on rentals, repair times and parts, including Michigan’s rule that the driver, not the insurance company, chooses the shop.

04

Launched on their own domain and account

The site runs in the shop’s own Cloudflare account on its own domain, with the office’s existing email carried across untouched. Uploaded photos are checked by their actual contents before anything is mailed, and the form refuses to send at all if its bot check is ever switched off.
